The Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest was started in 1976 as a celebration of the Boardman community and its residents. Over the last nearly 50 years, this township gathering has grown into the area’s largest one-day arts and crafts festival, attracting vendors and visitors alike from the surrounding states.

Not only does this festival offer visitors the chance to sample delicious foods, purchase seasonal wares from talented craftspeople and learn more about area non-profits, it supports the Boardman and even the global community. The annual Oktoberfest is Boardman Rotary’s largest single fundraising event. Proceeds support several area projects and programs, including the Boardman Rotary Scholarship program that provides local graduates with funding to an accredited college, university or trades program; organizations, such as the Boy Scouts of America Great Trail Council; and non-profits such as Easter Seals and Project MKC. International needs are also addressed when the Rotary Club of Boardman partners with other groups around the globe.

This year’s event is scheduled for October 4th, 2026, at the beautiful Boardman Township Park. Gates open to the public at 9am. Admission is only $5 and children 12 and under are free. We hope that you can join us once again at this beautiful community event!
